Laporan Lawatan Tapak Klinik Teluk Wanjah

Venue   : Klinik Pergigian Teluk Wanjah, Alor Setar, Kedah.

            After a site visit dated 20th May 2010 at Klinik Pergigian Teluk Wanjah, Alor Setar, Kedah, we hereby pleased to conclude the following matters for kind references:

1)     Electrical Power Supply Infrastructure
i.     From our site visit, we have checked on the existing power supply to existing building (Asrama Doktor Pelatih). The existing power supply was supplied from overhead cable from nearest TNB concrete pole.
ii.     The nearest existing TNB Sub-Station is “Pencawang Elektrik Kompleks Belia Dan Sukan” which is about 600m from our site.
iii.     This existing TNB Sub-Station is a single chamber Sub-Station.
iv.     We believe that the existing Sub-Station is used to supply electrical power only for  “Kompleks Belia Dan Sukan”
v.     For this project, we believe the maximum demand for electrical power supply is more than 120kw which shall require a new TNB Sub-Station.

2)     Telecommunication Infrastructure 
      i.        From our site visit, this existing telephone was supplied from overhead cable from nearby existing telephone pole.
     ii.        This existing building (Asrama Doktor Pelatih) receives many telephone line and the telephone distribution to building was not properly done.
    iii.        We would like to suggest a proper underground telephone incoming with proper distribution plan for telephone, fax and internet facilities.

3)     Street Lighting Facilities
      i.        From our site visit, there is no existing street lighting in the Asrama Doktor Pelatih at the existing service road on our site.
     ii.        We would need to provide Street Lighting services as it would be one of “Majlis Daerah” requirement for new development.

4)     Compound Lighting Facilities
      i.        From our site visit, the existing compound lighting is installed at compound area which is located at compound area and mounted on an existing building.
     ii.        We would like to suggest replacing the compound lighting to a proper position.


5)     Incoming water supply
      i.        From our site visit, the incoming water supply is located at 2nd main entrance at a back of existing building.
     ii.        The incoming water supply pipe is 110mm HDPE.
    iii.        The location of bulk meter can be maintained and can use for temporary water supply for the construction.


The following Figure 1 shows the location of “TAPAK CADANGAN” Klinik Pergigian Teluk Wanjah and existing TNB single chamber for Kompleks Belia & Sukan. This existing TNB Sub-Station is located in the Kompleks Belia & Sukan compound.

Telecommunication Infrastructure 
Figure 4 shows the existing Telekom incoming overhead cable from nearby Telekom pole and figure 5 shows existing Telekom manhole type JC9/C.

Street Lighting Facilities
There are still no street lighting facilities available at a main entrance of existing Asrama Doktor Pelatih. We have noticed that the street lighting facilities is only been provided until “Pusat Latihan Lanjutan” as shown in figure 6.

Compound Lighting Facilities
Figure 7 shows the existing Compound Lighting provide at compound area and mounted at building.

Water Supply Facilities
